Kindergarten
Curriculum

At Holy Cross Lutheran School, we dare to reimagine what education looks like - creating a place where all children thrive through the perfect blend of structured learning and free exploration, where Jesus is our greatest teacher and nature is our greatest classroom.

Values of Faith

Holy Cross Lutheran School appreciates the culture and diversity of God’s world and encourages students to acknowledge and respect the differences in themselves and others. Language, materials and activities in the classroom are void of stereotypes.

Our ELCA and school values of Integrity, Inclusion, Community, Empathy and Kindness are integrated into the curriculum of the preschool.  This is reflected in the warm, nurturing and respectful ways in which the staff responds to the students and families.

The students attend weekly chapel class in the church sanctuary. The Pastors and HCLC volunteers lead students in a Bible story, activity and music. The students learn different prayers during chapel as well as a variety of table prayers throughout the school year. Holy Cross Lutheran School reaches out to the community through various service projects chosen to help those in need.
