Get Kids Ready Initiative
Beginning in the 2026-27 school year, Wisconsin’s DCF is launching a new program called Get Kids Ready, designed to increase kindergarten readiness by investing in 4K programs like ours. Our school curriculum will continue to focus on academic, physical, socio-emotional, and self-help skills aligned with Wisconsin Model Early Learning Standards. For students turning 4 before Sept 1, 2026, we can now offer a half-day 5 day program at no charge to families.

Facilities
Holy Cross Lutheran School is a non-profit, faith-based school. As a ministry of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, ELCA, our school serves Menomonee Falls, Germantown, Sussex, Brookfield, and Milwaukee. Holy Cross Lutheran School has a state licensed 3K/4K preschool facility offering full day and half day programs with early morning and late afternoon care available.
Board of Education
The team that oversees Holy Cross Lutheran School (HCLS) includes a Governing Board and and Advisory Committee.
Governing Board members are selected by Holy Cross Lutheran Church membership at the congregation's annual meeting in January.
The Advisory Committee consists of parents, educators and church members dedicated to the mission of HCLS. This committee advises the Head of School on day to day decision making, policy writing and other advisory needs.
Together, this team of dedicated individuals perform many functions including setting school policies, hiring staff, establishing tuition, fees and salaries, fundraising on behalf of the school, assisting with school social activities and more. The team meets monthly or as needed. Parents are welcome at the meetings.
